Advancing Innovation Area of Greatest Need Fund
The biggest and most exciting opportunities do not always happen according to schedule. Gifts to our Area of Greatest Need Fund provide Adventist Health Sonora leaders with the flexibility to allocate resources where and when they are needed most. Gifts to this fund have helped purchase state-of-the-art equipment and technology, improved our physical campus and supported community projects.

Bringing Critical Cardiac Care to Sonora Heart Health
Gifts to our Cardiology Fund support the launch of a Percutaneous Coronary Intervention program, which will allow Adventist Health Sonora to care for patients having an active heart attack and eliminate the need to travel far from home for emergency cardiac care.
Your support also bolsters the construction of the new cardiac catheterization lab (cath lab), a first-of-its-kind facility to offer leading edge cardiac care right here in the Sierra foothills.

We provide the resources and clinical expertise of a leading health system to all of our patients, which is an extraordinary asset for our rural community. Meeting Adversity with HOPE Project HOPE
Project HOPE stands for Health, Outreach, Prevention and Education. Project HOPE assists Adventist Health Sonora patients through times of crisis by providing grocery and gas cards, paying bills, assisting with medical co-pays and prescriptions, and much more.

Growing our Digestive Health Center Digestive Health
Adventist Health Sonora is proud to offer digestive health services, with two full-time, board-certified gastroenterologists and a GI lab with capacity to provide up to 20 procedures daily, allowing our doctors to perform colonoscopies, endoscopies, bronchoscopies and other lifesaving procedures.

Gifts to the Digestive Health Fund support a new state-of-the-art facility that will allow us to increase the number of colonoscopies, endoscopies, bronchoscopies and other lifesaving procedures that we can provide each day, greatly reducing patient wait times and allowing our community to receive this important care close to home. With patients able to receive important screenings on time and with greater convenience, we will be able to detect cancer and other life-threatening illnesses earlier, leading to better treatment outcomes.
Bringing Care and Comfort at the End of Life Hospice Patient Support
The Hospice Patient Support Fund provides local hospice patients with compassionate end-of-life care. It also supports them and their families by helping cover expenses that are not typically covered by insurance, like transportation, in-home care, medications, utilities and more - at a time when they need it most.
